  • What is the formula for success? Katja Konschak’s path is embossed by throwbacks. Injuries and trouble regarding her job moved her aim to win an Ironman into far distance. She gives astonishing insights into her preparation, the process of qualification and how she manages to work and be a mother besides her professional athletic career. It is a story of overcoming all obstacles and raise above yourself and your competitors. n Katja Konschak is a triathlon and ironman runner, who started her 1st triathlon in 1997. In 1998 she was 10th at the european junior championships and was also an active swimmer from 1984 to 1994. But she reached the peak of her career on running long distances after becoming a mother and since then is listed in the leaderboard of German triathletes on the Ironman distance. The pharmacist is the German Champion Ironman 2016, runner-up for the Ironman European Champion, ITU Long Distance World Champion Team 2013 and runner-up for German Champion Long Distance 2013.
